 Caroline Daniels, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP), is widely acknowledged by the aviation industry as a pioneer of modern aircraft maintenance information systems. As one of three founders of ATP.  Ms. Daniels has played key leadership roles since the company's inception.  As the first operations leader, Ms. Daniels created and implemented the ATP "single source" aviation information services concept, developing cornerstone database and computing applications for ATP. In the following years she was central in establishing source affiliations which fueled the growth of ATP product offerings.  Ms. Daniels successfully led ATP through three generations of technology innovation with a focus on development, strategy and product innovation.  Ms. Daniels' focus on service, quality and customer satisfaction is pivotal to the company's growth and leadership position in the aviation industry.

 

Ms Daniels actively participates in the growth and development of the aviation industry.   Currently, she serves as the Vice Chair of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, and is Co-Chair of the President's Advisory Board of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).  Ms Daniels is a frequent industry speaker, most recently as commencement speaker for ERAU.

 

Ms. Daniels is also a member of the Board of Directors for the San Francisco based Academy of Art University, serving on the Finance and President's Evaluation Committees, and is Co-Chair of the Northern California Chapter of Women Corporate Directors.  Ms Daniels was awarded the National Association of Women Business Owners prestigious Trailblazer's Award and is the subject of a Stanford University business case. Ms Daniels is also a member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum sponsored by President Sarkozy of France and The San Francisco Opera Guild.  Ms. Daniels earned her BA at the University of Colorado and is a graduate of the Harvard Business OPM program. She earned her pilot's license in 1978 in order to fully appreciate the industry ATP serves.
