Qualifications
1- Bachelor of Science (BSc) (with honors) Cairo University (1955), was the first class, so University granted him the prize of Mustafa Barakah of Earth Sciences, It was the first who obtained it.
2- Doctor of Earth Sciences, University of Wales, UK and the University awarded him the degree of post-doctoral fellowship.
3- Earned a professorship degree (1972).
4- Honorary Ph.D. in the science of the Glorious Qur'an and Sunnah of the University of Islamic Sciences, Malaysia (1431 a.h, 2010).
PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
- Worked at: Sahara Oil Company, National Research Center (Cairo), Phosphate Mines (Nile Valley), Barramiya Gold Mines (Eastern Desert), Coal Mines (Sinai) (Five year Plan Project of industry), at each of the universities: Ain-Shams University(Cairo),King Saud University (Riyadh), University of Wale ( UK), Kuwait University (Kuwait), Qatar University (Doha), King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran (Saudi Arabia), A visiting professor at the University of California (Los Angeles 1977-1978) and Director, Markfield Institute of Higher Education ( U.K) (200-2001).
Other scientific activities:
1- Elected Fellow of the Islamic Academy of Sciences and member of its Board of Directors. 2- Elected Member of the Jury of Japan International Award for Science.
3- Elected Member of Advisory Committee of The International Organization on scientific Notions in the Glorious Qur'an & Purity Sunnah (Muslim World League – Makkah) & Member of the Board of Directors, and Consultant for its magazine "Al-Iâjaz" (The Miracles.
4- Chairman, Committee on Scientific Notions in the Glorious Qur'an & Purity Sunnah - Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs - Cairo.
5- Co-founder of Earth Sciences Division of both universities: Riyadh University (1959-1964, 1964-1967), Kuwait University (1967-1978), Qatar University (1978-1979), University of Petroleum & Minerals Dhahran (1979-1996) and included in the teaching staff until he received a professorship & the Head of the geology Department at Kuwait University 1972 and at Qatar University 1978.
6- He supervised more than 45 MA and a Ph.D. in geology at Egypt, the Arabian Peninsula, the Arabian Gulf, North Sea and ideal rock sectors in Western Europe.
7- Elected Member of many scientific associations of local and global.
8- Elected Member the editorial board of several scientific journals like Journal of Foraminiferal Research (New York), and magazine Journal of African Earth Sciences (Paris). 9- Consultant for many magazines: * Islamic Sciences (India). * The Contemporary Muslim (Washington). * Al-Rayyan (Qatar). * The Sharia & Law of United Arab Emirates University (Al-Ain). * International Journal for Research in the Quran - Academy of Islamic Studies - University of Malaya – Malaysia. * Journal of Islamic Science - Islamic Science University- Malaysia.
10- Consultant for: (Robertson Research Laboratories (UK), Arab Petroleum Consultants (Kuwait), Arabian Oil (Khafji), Dubai Islamic Bank (U.A.E.), Taqwa Bank (Lugano / Switzerland).

20- Visited many countries as a lecturer on Islam and Muslims (specially of scientific Notions in the Glorious Qur'an and Purity Sunnah) form Canada at north into South Africa & Australia at south and from Americas at west into Central Asia at east.

Scientific Awards
1- “Secondary Education Competition Award” (Ministry of Education - Egypt, 1951) Top of the list.
2- “Baraka Geology Award” (Cairo University, 1955) and it was the first who obtained it.
3- The degree of Fellowship University of Wales in a post-doctoral (UK 1963).
4- The “Robertson Post-Doctoral Award for Research (University College of Wales UK. 1963-1967). 5- Prize for the best papers which submitted to the Conference of the floating Microfossils each of Geneva – Switzerland (1967), Rome – Italy (1970).
6- The Arab Petroleum Congress Best Papers' Award (1970, 1972).
7- Grant Award from Association of Egyptian Scientists Fossils (2001).
8- Elected Member of a lot of Scientific societies (Arab and foreign) and in the editorial board of a number of its scientific periodicals.
9- Grant medals from Egyptian & Arabic Universities and a number of scientific unions and professional inside &outside Egypt.
10- Grant a lot of certificates of appreciation from organizations of different Arab and foreign.
11- Grant Award of the President of the Republic of Sudan and the Order of Arts and Sciences and Arts Golden of the year (1426 a.h. – 2005).
12- Grant Dubai International Holy Qur'an Award and the Islamic personality of the year2006/1427 A.H.
13- Award Bashrahil International Scientific Excellence of the Year 2010/1431 A.H. for scientific studies in the field of Qur'anic miracle.
14- Selected personal number (25) of one hundred of the most important influential figure in the Arab world in the annual referendum issued by the Emirates magazine (Arabian Business) of the year 2010/1431 A.H.
15- He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science in the Glorious Qur'an and Purity Sunnah of the University of Islamic Sciences / Malaysia Year 2010 / 1431 A.H.
16- He was nominated for the King Faisal International Prize for Service to Islam in 2011/1432 A.H.
Scientific & Cultural Publications:
1- He had more than 350 scientific published article & research, 75 books in many languages like: Arabic, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Kyrgyzstan.
2- He writes a weekly article about the Scientific Miracle in the Glorious Qur'an under the title (of the secrets of the Quran) issued more than three hundred and seventy articles (Al-Ahram Newspaper, Egypt).
3- He writes a weekly article and issued more than two hundred articles (Al-Shabeba Newspaper, Oman).
4- His series of articles in a variety of magazines like (Al-Da'oah [the mission]), (The contemporary Muslim), (Al-Iâjaz [Miracle]), (A convoy of oil), (Aeeat [signs]), (Al-Khafji), (The Community), ( The Message), (The Criterion [the Holy Qur'an]), (The Treasures of the Criterion), (Aletbian), (The Platform free nation).
5- Issued has three encyclopedias are scientific: A- Encyclopedia of Scientific Miracle in the Glorious Qur'an (1-11 volumes) the Heaven – The Earth- the Animal- the Plant- the Human Creation- Human from birth into Resurrection in the Glorious Qur'an, Still printing till now: Historical Miracle (2 volumes), Legislative Miracle, Psychological Miracle, Miracle to Describe the scenes of the Resurrection. B- Encyclopedia of Scientific Explanation of The Cosmic Verses, 4 parts translated into Malay and explain the whole Qur'an in one volume named " In the light of the Glorious Qur'an: Reflections on the Book of Allah". C- Encyclopedia of Scientific Miracle in the Purity Sunnah issued in 6 books: 3 in Arabic and 3 in English then collected in 2 volumes: one in Arabic and the other in English and also translated into Indonesian Language.
6- Explanation of Cosmic Verses in the Glorious Qur'an in three hundred TV episodes, these episodes explain 1200 Qur'anic verses.
